Oliver has completed his ASDAN Transition Challenge qualification. He studied for this at the RDA stables and his units of work all had a horsey theme. One piece of work for a DT unit was entered in the regional RDA art and craft competition. Oliver won first prize at regional level and them went on to be Junior Champion at the national competition. He won a trophy and 3 rosettes.

Oliver's award winning artwork
Oliver continues to play boccia, he has competed on a team at regional competitions and has reached the semi-final stages at several events.
Oliver's boccia team won the county Youth Games boccia tournament. They were undefeated all day and were thrilled to win gold medals and the championship shield. The boccia team were subsequently finalists in our local newspapers' sports personality of year awards.

County Youth Games Champion
Oliver has made tremendous progress with his swimming this year. He has gained the ASA swimming level awards to level 6. He now swims all 4 swimming strokes in a recognisable style and can swim under water. He is especially good at breaststroke (the easiest for him to master due to its symmetrical action). Oliver has started his distance awards and has achieved 800m.

Oliver enjoys swimming
Oliver's favourite ride at Disneyland Resort Paris is Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast. He has worked hard, helping Dad to produce a Laser Blast photograph gallery, which you can view by clicking here.
